Hello! I'm Yasmine

I am currently enjoying my PhD journey. My thesis revolves around the characterization and the optimization of distributed machine learning systems.

I was always passionate about data and extracting wisdom from it. Through my actual PhD thesis, I aspire to contribute in the optimization of the most powerful big data mining and modelisation tools, aka distributed machine learning systems.

HOBBIES

Reading

Classical literature, history, science, philosophy, etc. What fascinates me the most about books is that they are the closest thing to a space/time travel machine.

Graphical designing

I love to see beauty, and to create beautiful things. Graphic design, as for art, stimulates the mind.

Volunteering

Personal growth, physical exercise and human interactions warmth. Isn't volunteering a privilege?
